What do you think about staying in a poor community of Rio de Janeiro? This is something new arriving in Rio. Now with the pacified favelas the cariocas start to discover the big houses that were constructed before the creation of the communities from the 60's to the 80's. This is how the first hostels in the favelas were created.
Now they are more than one hostel, and there you can see and live the way of life of the people of the community. You can find it, in Cantagalo (Copacabana); Chapéu Mangueira (Leme); and the new one in Pavãozinho.
