Rio de Janeiro in the summer is bursting with new musical proposals....from the rock'n roll, soul and funk, at the mix with drumming and eletronic, around every corner you find a home show and a band with a different job and enriching music. To the Jazz Festival that are happening in Rio (Sala Baden Powell - Copacabana) you have to hurry, because they are ending in february.
Other option is look for a park, like the "Garota de Ipanema" park, near from the Arpoador beach,being cared for by the clothing brand, Osklen. This month the phone company, Oi (Oi Music), is promoting new bands with different music proposals. The concerts start 19h.
