In the end of the beach, near from the Copacana Fort, there are the fishing community Z-13. There you can find fresh oysters served in the same place. The place is used by the people from the neighborhood that buy their fresh fish to cook at home.

The denomination of the community, Z-13, come from the organization that was given it and their delimitation, that go from: Leme - Copacabana and Barra da Tijuca - Recreio. Much of them go to Barra da Tijuca to fishing, and the tipical fish are (in portuguese): Pargo, Corvina, Anchova, Badejo, Garoupa, Olho de Cão and Robalo.
