If you know anything about the grafitti, you should know that here in Rio we have exelent artists that started your art in eighty when the graffiti was marginalized. But now they share the works to everyone that are interested in art, and in some cases to look for them. That because in some places, like Santa Tereza, the art could be in any square or corner of the neighborhood.

Some of them you can find around the Jardim Botânico and Lagoa, but in Maracana, Tijuca and much others neighborhood's you can find some examples of this kind of street art.
Many times the graffiti represent the popular culture of the moment. And the street art must be the new art to Rio de Janeiro.
